I was invited to a IT tv show on B1TV. I talked about www.floridelux.ro and about www.brazidecraciun.ro - two of my projects. Actually I was on the first whodeveloped an e-commerce site on Romanian market and they always askdifferent questions to see how market evolves, what are the problems, whatadvice I can give to new people who want to develop their own business.I had questions like: how many orders are per day, comparing with the firstyear (I have 3 years on the e-commerce market and I've started with anadvertising agency...long time ago). Or: how much orders are from Romaniaand how much from outside Romania.I have to say I didn't miss the opportunity to say I've been to Seul :P

Whaw....i am realyyyyyyyyyyyy impressed someone is on the blog because I quite keep it "secret" :)
Let me explain: when i lunch the first e-shop we were testing with a partner from Romania the e-payment solutions. Testing and developing it because it did't work. That's why from the first day we introduced on the website different payment sollutions.
About questions, today for example i had an interview for another Romanian newsletter- Adevarul- and each time i receive the same questions about nr of people who order online, problems on the market, advice for new business-developer and the country from which we receive more orders.

i understood from that phrase that floridelux.ro is the first e-commerce site on the romanian market...
and each time i receive the same questions about nr of people who order online, problems on the market, advice for new business-developer and the country from which we receive more orders - of course, people usually is interested in numbers and facts. everybody hates the presentations or the texts which have nothing to say, only vague or general informations (especially when it comes to e-commerce)
No, it's not THE first...it's on the first. When i lunched it i was working with a e-payment sollution that it didn't work , so we had to improve it. I'm not going to say the firm name because i don't want to advertise it at all.
But if you say there were others e-commerce websites before it, i realy I agree with you. There were some, just that from my knowledge they couldn't receive online e-payment because the sistem didn't worked.
We learned step by step and improved the sistem. It was a common effort from different firms.
oh i see. you were saying that it might be the first e-comm site from .ro who had online payment option.
anyway im guessing what online payment company you are talking about.
did you gave up that time because the online payment processing company didnt had the software ready for you?
But if you say there were others e-commerce websites before it, i realy I agree with you.
i think saying that a true e-commerce site is only a site that accepts online payment (credit cards) is a false statement.
what role exactly did you have in the two projects?
Let's make it clear: there is a big difference between a e-shop and a presentation website for a off-line shop!
Of course it is esential for one e-sop to have online payment. Otherwise is one website for a offline business.
